Time for me to begin to work though the details of my weekly chores. As I’ve had some time to actually get them done when they were scheduled to get done, I want to put on paper what I’m hoping to accomplish.
Today I’ll look at Bathrooms and Weekly Baking.
About a year and a half ago I shared this video using Don Aslett’s method of daily cleaning the bathroom in 3 1/2 minutes. I did it for years and then, for some reason, I got out of the habit of the daily cleaning. I’m sharing it again because it is GREAT and very very helpful.
The one thing that is always so frustrating is our terribly hard water. Without a water softener, the continual hard water stains on all of our bathroom fixtures are so difficult to get off. I would love to find something other than The Works to get it off and keep it off. If anyone has suggestions, I’d be delighted to hear them, so long as they don’t include very hard scrubbing!
I’m hoping to be able to make monthly washing down of woodwork and windows and walls part of the weekly bathroom chores. Also a check on the organization of the cabinets and drawers would always be in order.
Next month I hope to begin a weekly bake day. I have some things I need to set in order around the home first, but that is my goal. I’ll share more on that as the time gets closer.
